This week was one of those weeks where I had to take a step back and thank my Heavenly Father for all my blessings I have in my life. Everyday I am just so very grateful for everything that I have.
Let's talk about miracles.... this weekend I saw one of the greatest miracles and blessings ever. Saturday we were eating lunch at a members and get a call from an Hermano in the ward we have never met. He told us that this family living with him (who are not members) wanted us to come over right away and teach them. We told them we could be there in half an hour and then got on our bikes and started riding over there. Meanwhile, it's pouring rain. It's been doing that a lot recently. So we go pick up the car and drive over to the house and begin teaching this family. It was kind of a weird lesson because some members speak Spanish and the rest speak English so it was a lesson full of translating back and forth. But the Spirit was so strong. One of the best lessons I have had so far. This family is yearning for guidance and ultimately want the best for the children. We're teaching them the first lesson and out of nowhere my companion extended the baptismal invitation to them in Spanish and then I ended up extending it in English and the mom was like "Yes. We need this." ... there is no doubt in my mind that the Lord is preparing people for us to find. I have the strongest testimony of this and the love Heavenly Father has for each and every one of his children.
Speaking of Heavenly Father's children... remember our investigator, Alejandro? Well, he's getting baptized this Sunday. He's more than ready and so excited! More to come next week on how it went, or if it even went. You know that sneaky Satan will do everything in his power this week to make it not happen.
I wish I had more time to write you guys, but I don't. There's miracles happening around us each and everyday, we just have to take a step back and recognize them. I challenge each of you at the end of the day to take some time and see what Heavenly Father has done for you.
I'm grateful for all of you!
