I DO BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, I DO, I DO! This week was just miraculous.
Exchangies with Sister Pugmire aka momma puggs. The coolest STL eva, literally love her so much. Against all odds, we were able to see some sweet miracles. She was giving me a training on faith and I kid you not that right in the middle their only investigator and our only lesson that day calls and drops them. Yes, only the beginning to this little lesson on "faith". We weren't really sure if we should change around our plans or not since the only reason we were going to this area was because of their gator, well we said we were going to go to Heavenly Father, so we stuck with it. And were so blessed! We were biking around and a woman happened to be sitting outside watching her kid play with the neighbors. We stopped and talked with her about the restoration and ended up sitting down for like 45 minutes talking about the gospel and she was so prepared. Recently, I have been studying faith a lot and this to me was just an answer to my little silent prayer. Heavenly Father works in accordance to the faith that we have. I know that God loves each and everyone of us and that He knows each one of us personally. He is just aware of me as He is to the woman who was sitting on her porch.
We also picked up a new investigator, Nancy. She is from Mexico with 5 children all under the age of 5, 2 of them being twin boys. She is our hero. More to come on this little familia.
We also had a super random miracle this week, his name is Samuel... and no not the lamanite. Ok, that was lame, I know, but I can't help it that's all I've got to work with these days. We were trying to clean up our phone from the gazillion and 5 contacts in it and were calling and randomly call this guy and he informs us that he is on his way to Chicago and will be there for awhile so call him back in a few weeks. Well time passes by and we called him this past week and he is still in Chicago, but he has a friend there who invited him to church and so he went and wants us to meet with him when he gets back. Woah little buddy.. where did you come from? Blessings. Blessings. Blessings.
Transfers are next week and I am also certain that I am leaving. So we shall see.
If anyone wants a good laugh here ya go:
Recently a ton of people in our ward have been getting serious injuries in some weird way or another (ok that's not the funny part, it's actually really say, but the funny parts follows) and we were able to go to the Sanford hospital and visit a recent convert. Well, while in Sanford, which is another word for the ghetto, we saw this sign for people who need help paying their tickets saying "call 1-800-WTF-POPO" hahahah like why? this city is so weird. like so weird. but it's home now.
